The Goal

I help clients address symptoms first by learning how to work through them. This is called learning about your physical and emotional regulation. We also explore possible root causes and work to understand the internal and external obstacles that hinder YOUR MOTIVATION for change. Addressing those obstacles allows you to then implement the change needed to support healthier behaviors and more sustainable outcomes.

The Work

I work with adolescents, young adults, and women, more specifically women experiencing gynecological challenges or menopausal changes. I help my clients work through symptoms and unhelpful thought processes associated with Anxiety, Mild to Moderate Depression, Loss/Grief, and Life Transitions.
I also work with adolescents and/or parents on College/Career Goals and Guidance. This service is not covered by insurance, it is self-pay and incurs different fees.

Teens

Is your teen age 12-19, struggling with confidence, emotional regulation, family expectations and relationships, school obligations, technology over-use, or high school/college transition or preparation?

Young Adults

Are you a young adult, age 20-35, struggling with completing college or transitioning/settling into a career? Are you looking for help with direction? Do you need help working out difficult personal or professional relationships, processing old or new relationships or navigating family or societal expectations? Do you need help with getting “unstuck” from the loss or grief of a person or people, the past or a dream?

Women

Are you a woman, age 20-60, experiencing gynecological challenges like PCOS, endometriosis or menopause changes? Are you struggling with low energy, brain fog, or irritability? Is it difficult maintaining self-care, and working through change in the face of anxiety or depression like symptoms brought on by physical pain, emotional worry or mental exhaustion?

My Methods

My methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Nature Based Walk and Talk Therapy. I also use Solution-Focused and Motivational Interviewing approaches.
