Loss / Grief

A PurposeFull PATH is a premier mental health practice, delivering a full spectrum of sophisticated psychiatric and psychological services that result in meaningful change for you and your family.

The death of someone can be a difficult and painful process, and no one should have to make the journey through grief alone. A PurposeFULL Path’s Hospice Bereavement Program connects those who have experienced a death loss with information, services, and resources to help support them while they move through their grief experience, no matter when the death occurred or where they are in the healing process.

Individual/family counseling

We can offer individual or family appointments to explore your loss experiences, assistance to help you cope with grief, and address concerns surrounding your loss. If you need additional support through ongoing therapy, we can provide counseling resources and referrals to local counselors specializing in grief, loss, and trauma.

Grief support groups

We offer ongoing opportunities to attend grief support groups. We hold our eight-week educational support groups in various locations in South King, Pierce, and Kitsap counties. Groups fill up quickly, and we do require registration ahead of time to attend.

Telephone outreach

Our counselors and volunteers, trained in the issues of grief and loss, are available to support you by telephone at any time during our business hours; Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
